Closed our seed round last week. Next up: our first account executive and a head of customer success. If you have built a GTM team from zero at a dev-tools startup, my DMs are open.
Post on X · publicCompanies about to hire, before the role is on every job board.
Kateion gives specialist recruiting agencies a weekly list of companies in their niche that announce a first hire in a function, a senior role, several roles at once or hiring right after a funding round. Each entry links to the founder’s or company’s public post, so you can reach out before the role is advertised everywhere.
Free for one week, then from €500 a month. Cancel any time.
- First hire in a function
- Senior or leadership role
- Several roles at once
- Hiring after funding
- Team expansion
- New office or market
By the time a role is on job boards, every agency in your niche is already calling.
Founders often say they are hiring before the role is posted: in a funding announcement, a thread about their first sales hire, or a post asking for introductions.
That is the moment a specialist agency can help most, and the moment most agencies miss. Kateion skips job boards and other recruiters’ posts and finds the companies themselves.
A public post becomes a checked lead, with the evidence attached.
Every entry in your weekly list looks like the card on the right. You read the post yourself, so you know exactly what the company said before you reach out.

Kateion watches X, the open web and public forums for businesses at a moment: a price change, an outage, a deprecation, a hire, or a plain “what should we use instead?”.
- Every post
Verify
Each post is read and scored for fit, timing, intent and confidence. Consumers, jokes and anonymous accounts are dropped. A person checks what is left.

Deliver
You get one short list a week, on the same day. Every entry has the link to the post, why it matters now, and how we know who it is.

Clean by design, so you can use it with a clear conscience.
- Public posts only. Only what a business wrote about itself, in public. No private data, no bought lists.
- Link, don’t copy. Every entry links to the original post. We quote a line at most.
- A person at every contact. Nothing is sent automatically, by us or for you. People write to people.
- Removed on request, same day. Anyone can ask to be taken out, and every buyer is asked to honour it.
More on the method: how Kateion finds and checks signals.
Frequently asked
Do you include job board listings?
No. Job boards are where everyone already looks. Kateion finds companies saying they are about to hire, and drops recruiters’ own posts.
Can I get only my niche?
Yes. Tell us the functions, seniority, industries and regions you place, and the list is filtered to them.
Is there a per-lead option?
Yes. Besides the monthly feed, recruiters can pay per lead they accept. Ask for it when you start the pilot.
What does it cost?
One week free, then from €500 a month, or a price per accepted lead. Cancel any time.
Which hiring signals do you look for?
A company’s first hire in a function, senior or leadership roles, several roles opening at once, hiring after a funding round, team expansion, and new offices or markets.
Why not just watch job boards?
Many companies say they are hiring in public before a role is listed. Reaching the founder or hiring manager at that point puts you ahead of the agencies that respond to the job post.
Do you include job seekers or candidates?
No. Every lead is a company that is hiring. We never collect information about candidates.
Can I focus on one region or seniority?
Yes. Tell us the roles, seniority and regions you place and we tune the search to them.
Do you contact the companies for us?
No. You reach out under your own name, with something relevant to the hire they described. Nothing is ever sent to a company automatically.
Does a person check every lead?
Yes. Software finds and scores candidates, then a person reviews each one. Only leads marked good go into your list, and nothing is ever sent to a business automatically.
What is in each lead?
The company, the moment it is in, why now, how we know who it is, and the link to its own public post, so you can read the evidence before you reach out.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. The pilot ends by itself. After that you are billed monthly in advance and can cancel at the end of any month, with no notice period.
What if my market is not listed?
Ask for a custom feed. Tell us who you sell to and what makes a company ready to buy from you, and we will investigate what is publicly out there and propose a plan and price.
